Bio | Kathy Delaney

Kathy Delaney is a Chief Creative Officer based in New York City. She specializes in building agencies, teams, cultures, brands and businesses across the health, wellness, beauty, and lifestyle space.

Most recently, Kathy served as Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi Wellness/Publicis Health. Over her 12-year tenure, she brought a bold, creative vision to life, crafting compelling, human-centric stories that promote health and wellness. Her work impacted clients such as the American Heart Association, AbbVie, Abbott, Astellas, Allergan, BI Animal Health, Eli Lilly, Galderma, GSK, J&J, Novartis, P&G and Pfizer.

Prior to joining Saatchi, Kathy served as Global Chief Creative Officer at Nitro, where she helped expand the agency’s global footprint, culminating in its acquisition by digital consultancy Sapient and the successful formation of SapientNitro. There, she worked with brands like Kraft, Foot Locker, Mars, ConAgra Foods, Unilever, and the Malaria No More Organization.

She previously spent 14 years at Deutsch, climbing the ranks from Associate Creative Director to Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner. She helped grow the company from a boutique firm to an integrated marketing powerhouse purchased by IPG in 2001.
At Deutsch, she created iconic campaigns for clients including IKEA, Snapple, Mitsubishi Motors, Revlon, Almay, Bank of America, Tommy Hilfiger, Monster.com, Pfizer’s Zoloft and Zyrtec, J&J’s Tylenol portfolio, Tanqueray, Starwood Hotels (Westin and Sheraton), and Ray-Ban.

Earlier in her career as an Art Director at Chiat/Day, Kathy honed her craft under the mentorship of some of the industry’s most influential creative leaders.

Kathy attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she met her husband. They live in Manhattan’s East Village with their beloved Frenchie, Mia.
